'BalancedPlates started from a humble vision: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Bianchis in 1985, our family-oriented pizzeria was born, rooted in recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Bianchi, our progenitor, mastered pizza creation after exploring Italy and learning from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, the cradle of pizza. After returning to the UK, her mission was to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, adhering to classic techniques and using only the finest ingredients.
What started as a quaint 12-seat eatery has expanded into a cherished community staple, yet our dedication to excellence and genuine craftsmanship remains unchanged. We continue to employ wood-fueled oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and select the best ingredients available.
Now, 'BalancedPlates' is still in the hands of family, with the Bianchi lineage guiding our devoted crew. Though we've adopted select contemporary enhancements, our core remains: to craft delightful, traditional pizza that unites people.
